Absolutely wonderful! My girlfriends took me here for a wine tasting and had the most relaxing time! The owners were friendly, the wine was fabulous, and it turned out to be a wonderful birthday treat!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our wine-tasting experience at Douglas Vineyards. Doug and Denise are very friendly and accommodating. I love going to smaller wineries where the winemaker also performs the tastings. Doug's winery is in his own backyard. From the porch, you get a relaxing view of his small vineyard.
I am not normally a fan of muscadine wines but their Carlos wine was wonderful. It has a restrained sweetness unlike the syrupy muscadine wines you get at most wineries. The other wines were excellent as well.

I have been to wineries up and down the East Coast and have never liked more than 4 wines in an establishment until now. Amazing flavors, with the fruits tasting just as they should... I was astonished at the complexity of the Merlot. Douglas Vineyards is a true hidden jem!

This is an awesome place to spend the afternoon with friends and family. The wines are really good and we definitely enjoyed our time today. 5 bottles drunk while we sat and chatted with other patrons. Purchased 6 bottles to take home with us. Have a mix of Juicy Peach and Midnight Blue! That mixture is really good. You will not go wrong!!! The owner and his son are great down to earth guys. Definitely will be going back again.

Checked out Douglas Vineyards today. Quiet and peaceful. Very nice ladies did our testing. Thanks Denise! What great flavors and very reasonably price. Awesome spot for a date day, girls time out etc. will be going back! You have to try the wine slushies!

I use to drink typical store bought wine but since I have had the Midnight Blue I will not drink anything else and the ambiance of Douglas Vineyards is outstanding.....thank you for allowing me to buy superb wine locally.

Enjoyed sampling at Hill's Blackberry Festival yesterday. Made off with a bottle each of Carlos Muscadine, Just Peachy, and Rockin' Raspberry. Really appreciated the tips to up my own basement winemaking game.

We had our vow renewal here on 6.15.24. Doug and Denise were amazing to work with. They were flexible and worked with us on different requests. The wine speaks for itself. Our guests loved the wine! So much of a hit we bought way too much beer! Thanks for allowing us to use your venue. Anyone looking for a beautiful setting, with flexibility and kind owners this is where you need to book!

Love their selection of sweet wines and I also look forward to the port wines in the later months. My only go to wines. Apple, watermelon, and raspberry are a few of my favorites. Hope to see Crème Brûlée Port return this winter.
